The Common Bird’s-foot-trefoil is a common plant that grows spontaneously in France in meadows, by roadside, wood edge… It is a melliferous flora, food source for many pollinators. It is also the host plant of Common blue that we are studying in our project to recreate its biological cycle in the laboratory. After 10 days of planting trefoil seeds, small seedlings developed in the laboratory.
